This Friday is my last day on Disney Junior’s Ariel<\/em>, the production I’ve been working on for the past two and a half years. As of next Monday, I’ll be on the job market! I decided to jot down a list of things I’ll finally have time to do once I’m unemployed.<\/div>\n

  • cleaning the house<\/li>\n
  • weeding the garden<\/li>\n
  • redesigning my author website<\/li>\n
  • creating new work portfolios<\/li>\n
  • writing a novel<\/li>\n
  • making personal art<\/li>\n
  • building shelves in the shed<\/li>\n
  • writing pilot scripts for my screenwriting portfolio<\/li>\n
  • getting UX certified<\/li>\n
  • updating my blog on a regular schedule<\/li>\n
  • recording and editing YouTube videos<\/li>\n
  • taking the dogs for more walks in the park<\/li>\n
  • teaching Hearth (the dog) tricks<\/li>\n
  • teaching Blaze (the cat) tricks<\/li>\n
  • teaching my five-year-old niece (the human) tricks<\/li>\n
  • designing merch to sell at cons and markets<\/li>\n
  • starting an adult volleyball club and then pitching a graphic novel about starting an adult volleyball club<\/li>\n
  • building a greenhouse<\/li>\n
  • throwing parties<\/li>\n
  • finally finishing Persona 5<\/em><\/li>\n
  • making focaccia from scratch<\/li>\n
  • (re)learning to sew<\/li>\n
  • volunteering at the old folks home and forming a meaningful relationship with a former dancer named Gladys who’s lived a life<\/li>\n
  • drawing new storyboards and animatics<\/li>\n
  • overnight oats??? (google this)<\/li>\n
  • getting to #1 on the slither.io<\/em> leaderboard, it’s over for them bros<\/li>\n
  • fist fighting every single mosquito<\/li>\n
  • napping<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
