It's actually kind of reassuring to know I'm not the only one in this boat, though I wish it could be a little easier for all of us! Moving into a big city with little money and not much job security is scary. I got a lot of "you're crazy" and "wow you've got balls" when I moved to LA. Seriously, just three weeks ago I was thinking it was the stupidest decision I'd ever made. I can't even believe how much my perspective has changed since then. I always always always told myself since the day I applied to Ringling, that if I got in, I'd do whatever it took to see myself through that school, and to move on to better things in life. I've had to go through a hell of a lot just to get to this school, to get through it, and who knows whats going to happen after graduation. It might not be the financially smartest option in life, but dammit I'm proud of you for really hanging onto your hopes and dreams and doing whatever it takes. You will make it in the industry Nilah!
